Sikhism

Kota Kinabalu's Sikh community gathers at the gurdwara, where the Guru Granth Sahib is read and everyone shares a free meal from the langar kitchen. Sikhs believe in one God, honest work and service to all.

Read the scripture: Guru Granth Sahib (SikhiToTheMax)

Visiting

  • Cover your head and take your shoes off before entering; scarves are lent at the door.
  • Sit on the floor facing the Guru Granth Sahib, never with your feet pointing toward it.
  • Everyone is welcome to eat in the langar. The food is vegetarian.
